Your exam stays in view
The header shows the current examination. Clinical practice and CCS remember their own selection; the question and Written players keep their existing course selectors.
How it works
Choose your exam, open a station and speak with the right counterpart. Keep the task and supplied material in view while the conversation continues.
One app, familiar navigation
Use the workspace picker for MCQ, Clinical, Written, CCS, Cards, Mocks, Discuss and your available institutional programme. Home, Practice, Review, Progress and Account stay in the same place. Course banks, purchased papers and programme permissions still determine what you can open.
The header shows the current examination. Clinical practice and CCS remember their own selection; the question and Written players keep their existing course selectors.
When you leave unfinished flexible clinical practice, choose Stay or Pause & Leave. Use Resume in the station library, or reopen the same attempt from Home or Review. Protected examination clocks keep running.
Clinical encounters use the spoken conversation and authored task controls. Question sessions retain their original question controls, and document tasks provide the actual form to complete.
Save cases to your account, filter by progress and return directly to an unfinished attempt or its last review. Choose a complete encounter or focus on a skill in your available case bank. Consultations, focused examinations, long cases and examiner discussions follow their own authored tasks.
Open protected circuits from the same exam. Read the case count, timing and feedback-release rules before starting.
Return to completed attempts, transcript evidence, supplied findings and submitted documents. Choose a useful next rehearsal without rewriting the original attempt.
Clinical conversations use Realtime speech input and spoken responses. Speak normally and interrupt when needed; there is no Send button between spoken turns. You are interacting with an AI role-player, and the transcript is saved for educational feedback.
On a larger screen, supplied material sits beside the conversation. On mobile, switch between Conversation, Material, Record, Notes and the required document; a microphone control remains beside the material. The task stays available above these tabs. The patient does not become an examiner unless the authored task changes the counterpart.
Private notes and document drafts autosave to your account. Save Draft keeps work in progress; Submit Document is the separate action that submits it for assessment. Before leaving, resolve any save warning. Moving on does not automatically submit an unfinished document.
Type Instead remains available for accessibility or quiet practice. Clinical documents, notes and prescriptions still use the relevant editable forms. They are work to complete, not a replacement for spoken consultation.
Use Check Microphone & Speaker before opening the brief. The microphone check is local: it does not record or send audio. Play the test sound and confirm that you heard it. Your microphone turns off when the check ends and stays off during reading. If voice cannot connect, retry or deliberately choose the typed alternative; the app does not silently substitute text chat.
Open the app to check enabled features and your access.
Read and start when ready. Use available authored guidance, pause and move to the next task. Assistance is distinguished from independent performance.
The default for individual stations. Start when ready, move on when a task is complete and finish early. The timer is an overall limit, not a minimum wait. No hidden-finding checklist is displayed.
Choose this explicitly for an individual timed station. Reading, task changes and finish follow the authored rules. Protected mocks also keep their circuit timing and feedback boundaries.
MCQ, Written and CCS remain activities in the same app. They keep their appropriate question players, order-entry tools and review methods. Access and Written marking allowances depend on the configured plan.
